Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In is a convenient and effective wash-in waterproofing solution specifically designed for softshell clothing, including fabrics like Windstopper®, Windbloc®, and Schoeller®. Here's how to use it properly:

Usage Instructions:

1. Preparation:

   • Clean the garments thoroughly with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash cycle to remove all dirt and detergent buildup. There's no need to dry the garments before waterproofing.
   • Remove all detergent buildup from the detergent dispenser.

2. Machine Washing:

   • Place a maximum of 2 clean garments in the washing machine.
   • Use 100ml per garment for front loading machines or 300ml for a maximum of two garments in top loading machines.
   • Run a 30°C synthetic cycle with a slow spin.

3. Hand Washing (Alternative Method):

   • If hand washing, use approximately 50ml per garment.
   • Immerse the clean garment in a sink or bowl filled with water.
   • Add the appropriate amount of SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In and agitate to mix.
   • Allow the garment to soak for a few minutes before thoroughly rinsing with clean water.

Note:

• To maintain waterproofing, always wash garments with Nikwax Tech Wash® and avoid using detergents.
